New measures: Exercise is excluded from the use of a mask

Exemption from the mandatory use of a mask for those who exercising outdoors

From Saturday, October 24, new measures for civil protection are in force in areas with orange and red level of alarm (level 3 and 4 respectively) such as the use of a mask outdoors but also for the night-time curfew from 00:30 to 05:00. This issue had raised several questions between runners, as it was not clear whether a runner is required to wear a mask while training.

However, after a clarifying response from the General Secretary of Civil Protection, it became known that those who are outdoors for physical exercise, either alone or in small groups, are excluded from this measure.

In any case, all of us should be careful and follow all the rules of hygiene not only during our training but also after that.
